Woman, 19, in Spindles sex attack

A MAN has been arrested after a 19-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in Spindles car park.
The victim was targeted at 10am on Monday when the man approached, spoke to her for a few minutes then attacked her.
The offender left, saying he would be back shortly - but the woman fled to get help.
Security guards traced and held the man for police. The 25 year old was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and remains in police custody.
Detective Constable Gareth Gwilliam said: “Incidents like this are rare in this area. We appeal for witnesses to assist the investigation.”
