AN 86-year-old woman and a taxi-driver in his 60s were taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital yesterday following a three-car collision.
The crash happened in Chadderton Hall Road just after 1pm and involved two taxis and a private car.
Fire crews from Chadderton cut the doors off one of the taxis to release the driver, who suffered neck and back injuries and was taken to hospital.
The elderly woman, in a Rover 25, complained of neck and back pain and was taken to hospital as a precaution. The second taxi-driver was not injured. The road was closed for an hour.
