A PIONEERING agreement between Oldham Council and housing group Regenda will aid an ambitious plan to revitalise Limehurst Village.
The 10-year, £5 million vision for Limehurst has been in operation for almost a year. Regenda is looking at ways to improve the environment, housing, recreation and employment opportunities.
A new neighbourhood co-operative agreement between the council and housing group has been signed.
This includes looking for new ways to improve local quality of life and opportunities. The agreement will also focus on wellbeing and health issues.
Steph Harrison, Regenda executive director, said: “The signing of the agreement marks the start of a whole new level of partnership working in Limehurst.”
