Hash in the attic
Date published: 11 October 2013
A CANNABIS farm worth an estimated tens of thousands of pounds was found by firefighters in Failsworth last night.
Around 100 mature plans were found in a bedroom and the attic of the terrace house in Old Road. No one was in the house.
The electricity supply is believed to have tampered with to run the operation. Neighbours raised the alarm when smoke began spreading to their lofts.
No arrests have yet been made.
