Date published: 15 October 2013
A DANCE school is joining thousands of tap-tap-tappers nationwide in an attempt to break a world record for synchronised tap dancing.
The Pauline G School of Dance in Lees is limbering up for the Performers’ Project Tapathon which will see thousands of tap dancers raising money for Children in Need.
The record currently stands at 7,596 ,but organisers hope to smash that with a 10,000-strong dance-in on November 17.
The dance school’s 48 dancers will take part at St John the Baptist Church Hall in Stamford Road, Lees, between 12pm-2pm.
The estimated 10,000 tap dancers will be dancing to “Candy” by Robbie Williams.
