Raiders use iron grid to smash into store

THIEVES stole cigarettes from an off-licence in Oldham after smashing through the window using a cast-iron grid.
The burglary happened at the Bargain Booze store on Ripponden Road at about 4.45am on October 14.
Two men in a white Volvo prised open the shutters and used the grid to smash their way through the door glass.
They emptied a cigarette display into a bedsheet and raced off in the car, which was last seen in Wellyhole Street travelling towards Lees. The pair wore black clothes and balaclavas.
