Guess Who’s coming to Oldham?

DOCTOR Who fans can indulge their passion by following a Time Lord Trail through Oldham town centre.
From Saturday for a week the town will mark the time traveller’s 50th anniversary with cardboard cut-outs of the Doctor in 10 local businesses.
Clues to the location of the cut-outs will be rveealed on the council’s Twitter and Facebook pages.
Fans can have a picture taken with the figures and submit the photos for the chance to win a Dr Who DVD (email images to photos@oldham.gov.uk or submit through Twitter, Facebook and Instagram with your name and the hashtag #LoveOldham and the phrase ‘I’m an Oldham Town Centre Time Traveller’.
Tommyfield Market will host a display featuring a Tardis, a Dalek and K-9. There will also be costumes of a Cyberman, Ood and other iconic characters. Saturday, November 2, brings intergalactic villains as well as shoppers for Dalek Day (11am-3pm).
Classic episodes from the programme will be screened by Oldham Small Cinema on the hour and a Dalek, Judoon Soldier and Cyberman will mingle with shoppers.
Councillor Shoab Akhtar said: “The series of Doctor Who themed activities is another fun and family event to give visitors a taste of what is to come over the coming weeks in the run up to Christmas.”
On November 2, a golden dalek will be on show.
