PYROTECHNICS, fire jugglers and Brazilian beats will make sure Oldham’s civic bonfire goes off with a Big Bang.
The fun family event will take place at its new venue — Oldham Edge — on November 5.
Fantastic Fireworks will provide the rockets, Catherine wheels and bangers under this year’s theme of “Sci-Fireworks” with a dazzling display choreographed to music.
The talented Juggling Inferno team will keep crowds entertained with a dramatic combination of fire-juggling, fire-eating and fire-dancing, while Brazilian band Juba do Leão will provide the musical accompaniment.
The event, sponsored by First Choice Homes, will also include a bonfire, children’s fun-fair rides and traditional bonfire food.
The council is offering the use of all its town centre car parks free of charge from 3pm onwards. Gates will open at 5pm with the stage entertainment set to start an hour later.
