Teenager fights for life

A TEENAGER suffered serious head injuries when he was hit by a car in Hathershaw on Friday night.
The 16-year-old boy was in a collision with a Subaru at the junction of Ashton Road and Villa Road at 7.20pm.
He remains in a serious condition in hospital.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
