SUPERFAN Rachel Fish was over the moon when her superstar idol Gloria Estefan praised her paintings.
The Greenfield mum has been a fan of the pop popstar since studying art at Oldham College as a teenager.
Last week Rachel (44) travelled to the Royal Albert Hall in London with her daughter Courtney (17) to see Gloria perform — and was able to present the singer with charcoal drawings of Gloria’s dog Noelle and grandson Sasha.
Rachel, a keen painter, said: “I said to her ‘I’m your artist’ - because I have sent her pictures in the past - and she said my name and gave me a big hug. She remembered me and my daughter from 10 years ago.
“The room went quiet when she looked at my sketches and we were all waiting for her reaction. Gloria was overwhelmed and called her husband Emilio over to look at them. It was so exciting.”
