Bank raid terror

TERRIFIED staff were subjected to a bank robbery in Oldham town centre during Monday lunchtime.
The raider burst into the Co-operative Bank on Market Place at around 12.35pm and threatened cashiers.
He thrust a blue plastic bag at them and demanded that they fill it with cash, then ran off towards Henshaw Street.
He is described as white, skinny, 6ft tall and of pale complexion, aged 35-40. He was wearing thick-rimmed black glasses, a red and black jacket with the hood up, and jeans.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
Detective Constable Colette Wilkinson said: “No weapon was seen but the man pointed something at staff from underneath his jacket to threaten them.
