A REVISED application to turn a Lees day nursery into 10 flats has been approved by Oldham planners despite objections.
The two-storey Village Nursery in Princess Street, Lees, will be converted as the building is no longer considered cost effective as a nursery.
The application had been approved in May but returned to the committee when it was found an objection hadn’t been included in the original papers considered by councillors.
Objections were taken into account in the revised plans approved last night.
The nursery is to relocate to a new building under construction in Lees High Street.
