Cox voted second-cleverest celebrity

OLDHAM scientist Brian Cox has been voted as one the country’s most intelligent celebrities.
Professor Cox, a former Hulme Grammar School pupil, placed second behind “QI” presenter Stephen Fry in a survey. Mathematician Carol Vorderman came third.
