A MOSSLEY artist has warned lazy law-breakers to clean up their act after leaving a mound of rubbish outside of his studio.
Internationally known artist Chris Cyprus has begun photographing offenders outside of his Manchester Road based studio and sending pictures of them to police.
Woodend Mill is home to professional artists, photographers and textile designers.
Mr Cyprus said: “On the inside of this old, historic mill you have all kinds of great artists but the outside is now becoming a dumping ground and we want this to stop as it’s affecting our business.
“What we are doing here is a positive thing and we don’t want the area to become dilapidated.”
Mr Cyprus has told fly-tippers to think twice before dumping their rubbish. He added: “We’re all artists and always have cameras at the ready so be warned
“If you fly-tip here we will snap you.”
