A SHAW teenager has been banned from entering Shaw town centre for two years.
Oldham Council has successfully obtained an Anti-Social Behaviour Order (ASBO) against Curtis Wayne Murphy (15), of George Street, because of intimidating and anti-social behaviour over a number of months.
He must keep away from the market area and town centre — places where there have been reports of anti-social behaviour in recent months.
The teenager is also banned from associating with a number of named individuals.
The order runs until October 28, 2015.
If Murphy breaches the terms he could be sentenced to a two-year detention and training order.
If you are the victim of or witness anti-social behaviour you can report this directly by contacting the team on 0161-770 1573.
Alternatively you can report it by email to ccs.admin@oldham.gov.uk or online at www.oldhamsays.com. All information provided will be treated in confidence.
