A HUSBAND and wife team who share a driving ambition are on the dual carriageway to success.
Helen and Lee Boughey (43), from Failsworth, both passed their driving instructor exams within a week of each other.
Helen (40) passed the final element of training last month and Lee (43) passed a week later.
The couple — who have worked together before — are now gearing up to launch their own school, the Mr and Mrs Driving Academy, after taking out a franchise with the AA Driving School.
Helen (40) said: “It was a bit of a challenge to get through the exams and we were both really pleased that we passed first time.
“I had my last exam about a week before Lee so once I had passed there was a bit more pressure on him for a while.
“Being a driving instructor is something that I have always wanted to do and I’m really looking forward to running our new business.”
