Cath green on the Great Wall walk
CATH Green walked for hours on end along narrow ridges in sweltering heat, but her mammoth effort was well worth it as she raised nearly £9,300 for charity.
The First Choice Homes chief executive walked the 100-mile Beijing section of the Great Wall of China to raise money for The Alzheimer’s Society and Dr Kershaw’s Hospice.
The six-day trek saw Cath endure a series of “heart stopping” moments, such as creeping across tiny ridges over huge drops.
But despite swearing that this experience would be a one off, Cath admits that she did enjoy herself.
She said: “At the end of the trek, I felt that I had achieved something really quite special.”
