MISSING: Hugo
A heartbroken pet owner has blitzed country villages with £1,000 reward posters in the hope of finding her missing dog.
Kelly Teece (33) of Grasscroft has distributed hundreds of hand-made notices to shops, pubs and offices across Saddleworth, Mossley and Marsden seeking help for the return of Hugo, a two-year-old cross Yorkshire terrier.
Kelly has even bought a pair of night vision goggles and a motion-sensor camera, and she and her friend Beverley Hannible spend up 10 hours a day searching for the pet.
“He was initially seen in Diggle the first couple of weeks after he vanished when he was spooked by another dog on a walk — then in Mossley. However, there has not been a definite sightings for the last four weeks,” she explained.
She said: “I have spent around £1,500 so far, and the the £1,000 reward on top of that. I know everyone is rooting for me — that’s really encouraging.”
