Fans on track for Latics mascot role
Date published: 02 December 2013
IT’S not just Santa wanting to hear from deserving children this year.
Metrolink is looking for a mascot to support Oldham Athletic’s FA Cup clash against Mansfield Town.
The match - at Boundary Park on Saturday - will see the chosen mascot meet players and walk with them on to the pitch.
Metrolink is encouraging children from the borough to say why they deserve to be considered for the one-off role. Entrants had better be quick — the deadline is tomorrow (Tue).
If you know someone who would like to play mascot for the match, send their name, age and contact details along with a reason why they deserve the chance, to Metrolink@bjl.co.uk.
A representative will contact the the winner.
