TWO men were savagely attacked by a mob after a party in Shaw.
The assaults happened at about 4.45am on Sunday as the men, both 32, walked along Beal Lane. A car stopped and several men jumped out and attacked them.
Both vistims were punched and one had his head stamped on. The man with head injuries needed eight stitches and suffered a broken nose.
Detectives are investigating a possible link with an argument at the party.
Det-Con Tony Anwas said: “This was a savage attack on two men by a mob of offenders.
“We are appealing to anyone who went to the party and saw what happened before, or anyone who saw the attack itself, to call us.”
