Chronicle and Round Table link up to make wishes come true

DO you know someone who deserves a special Christmas wish this year?

Your Chron has joined forces with Saddleworth Round Table to ensure a memorable Yuletide for some deserving Oldhamers.

Perhaps it’s a friend or neighbour living alone who just needs a small gift to let them know we care; or a hard-up family struggling to provide presents, or an unsung organisation doing its bit to bring joy to the less fortunate.

An indepedent panel of Round Tablers and our managing editor David Whaley will sift through your suggestions and try to grant some of the best ones.

Saddleworth Round Table chairman Ian Eardley, said: “We know Christmas can be a really tough time and we want to help. “We and the Chronicle will do our best to make some of the Christmas wishes come true.”
