COUNCIL chiefs want to attract more people from outside Oldham to come and live here.
The ambition is part of a strategy to boost local housing growth in Oldham.
Oldham’s council cabinet will consider a report on Monday that outlines the council’s housing plans, which include more expensive homes.
The Residential Development Framework sets out how the local authority proposes to work with investors, developers and partners to build more homes with a wider choice of sizes and types.
The document examines all aspects of housing in the borough.
Councillor Shoab Akhtar - cabinet member for town centres and business - said: “We need to be a town people choose to live in; this framework sets out a range of measures to stimulate the market for aspirational housing at all price levels.”
