Death probe

POLICE are investigating the death of a man discovered on land near Whitfield Dairy Farm, off Mossgate Road, Shaw.
The 60 year old was taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital shortly before 3am on Wednesday, where he died a short time later.
A post-mortem confirmed the cause of death was asphyxiation and inquiries continue, though police do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances.
