FREE rides on the carousel were popular with the children
A VICTORIAN fun fair brought extra cheer to Christmas shoppers on Saturday.
An old-fashioned carousel, stalls and games including hook-a-duck and hoop-a-Santa, hot roast chestnuts, organ music and street entertainment from jugglers offered something for all ages along Oldham High Street, outside Spindles shopping centre.
The fair was organised by Oldham Council, with rides and games free.
