Annalise Holt
THE funeral of Annalise Holt, the 12-year-old killed at a zebra crossing in Shaw, will take place on Tuesday afternoon at Oldham Crematorium.
The Royton and Crompton schoolgirl and her friend were struck by a van on December 17 as they crossed Milnrow Road.
The 11 year old was injured in the accident, but has since been discharged from hospital.
The incident reignited the debate over safety at the crossing with a petition to upgrade it growing to more than 5,000 signatures in the days following her death.
Only family flowers are being requested and all inquiries should be directed to Co-operative Funeralcare Oldham on 0161-624 2807.
