Woman dies after crash

A 73-year-old woman has died following a New Year’s Day car crash in Chadderton.
As previously reported in the Evening Chronicle, the accident happened at 2.20pm on Wednesday in Hollinwood Avenue when a blue Ford Fiesta hit a parked silver Peugeot 607.
Anyone who witnessed the accident should call police on 0161-856 4742.
