Tyre slasher on rampage

Twenty one Oldham motorists had their tyres slashed by vandals on New Year’s Eve.
Police are investigating after cars parked in the Windsor Road and Napier Street areas were hit between 8-9pm. One of the vandals was seen slashing the tyres, but escaped.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Sgt Trevor Harrison said: “These acts were total and utter wanton vandalism - criminal damage on a significant scale that has caused a lot of upset.”
