Benefit night for Annalise farewell
Date published: 06 January 2014
FRIENDS and colleagues raised £1,261 at a benefit night to help pay for the funeral tomorrow of Annalise Holt.
Annalise (12) died when she was hit by a van on a crossing in Milnrow Road on December 17.
The fundraising event was Chadderton Reform Club on New Year’s Day. Organiser Vivien Marland, a friend and colleague of Annalise’s mother, said: “It was a big community event — I didn’t expect it to be as overwhelming as it was. There were about 150 people there. People were so generous.”
Annalise’s funeral takes place at Oldham Crematorium tomorrow at 2pm.
