Your chance to be hip hop star

INTERNATIONAL hip hop star Joe Motley is returning to his roots this weekend to inspire a young generation of rappers.

The world-renowned artist, originally from Oldham, has shared the stage with the likes of Nelly, Beyonce, Nas and Damian Marley.

But he’s going solo for his trip to Square 1 Studios, in Union Street, where he is hosting a hip hop and rap masterclass weekender.

Not only will youngsters get to see Motley at work, they will get a chance to develop their own songwriting talents.

The participant judged, to have written the best song over the weekend will get to collaborate and record a song and music video with the artist, who now lives in Australia.
