A QUINTET of talented brainboxes from Blue Coat School have been offered places to study at Oxbridge.
Zac Keane, from Shaw, and Harvey Jones, from Moston, will both read physics at Mansfield College and St Catherine’s, Oxford, respectively.
Eleanor Prince, from Chadderton, has a place at Jesus College, Cambridge, to study experimental psychology.
Maddie Jones-Casey, from Shaw, is off to Churchill College, Cambridge, to study human, social and political sciences, while Hollie Richardson, from Norden, will read law at Keble College, Oxford.
Head teacher Julie Hollis said she was proud of all her students — and that five Oxbridge places in a year was a real achievement.
She added: “What’s really good is that these are across the disciplines: law, politics, the toughest sciences and cutting-edge psychology.
“We are delighted our students are ambitious and committed and we are proud that we can take them to the top.”
