Clean-up bags tonnes of festive waste

A post-Christmas Oldham clean-up produced 400 bin bags of rubbish weighing three tonnes.
Oldham Council’s Environmental Services staff carried out the borough-wide clean-up of street waste left over from Christmas and New Year.
Oldham council removes around 4,000 tonnes of litter and dumped waste from the streets every year.
