A MOTOR-CYCLIST was taken to hospital yesterday after an accident on the Oldham Way bypass.
The Yamaha appeared to have run into the back of a Citroen car travelling towards Mumps. The bike’s front forks were forced backwards by the impact and the car’s rear window smashed.
The rider was taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital with a suspected broken collar bone. The accident led to some traffic delays while emergency services worked
