SKY Sports News presenter Charlie Webster popped in to Boundary Park as part of her mission to run 250 miles in seven days.
The TV personality is visiting 40 football clubs in a week to raise money for domestic violence charity Womens Aid.
The challenge — which will see Charlie run the equivalent of a marathon a day — began at Burton Albion on Sunday and finishes at West Ham on Saturday.
She said: “I am proud to be taking on this challenge to raise money for Women’s Aid and to work with football clubs to raise awareness of domestic violence.
“The work Women’s Aid does is vital in helping the one in four women who will experience domestic abuse and their children receive the support they need, including access to a place of safety.
“I’m really pleased Greater Manchester Police is supporting my run, and working to combat domestic violence across the area.”
Latics commercial manager Jenny Warburton, was there to greet Charlie when she arrived at Boundary Park.
She said: “This is a tremendous effort by Charlie, to run just one marathon is no mean feat but to do one a day is unbelievable.
Several police officers joined Charlie for part of her run to raise money for a memorial fund set up for PCs Nicola Hughes and Fiona Bone, murdered in the line of duty in 2012.
Sgt Steve Gartside of the Oldham Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “When the Sky team got in contact about the run through Oldham we saw it as an opportunity to support a worthwhile cause.”
Charlie is hoping to raise £100,000. Visit www.justgiving.com/charliesbigchallenge
