A MAN charged with burgling an Oldham charity shop which helps youngsters with learning difficulties will face trial this summer.
Mark Kershaw (22) is charged with two offences of burglary and handling stolen goods over the incident at the Pennine Mencap shop in Union Street.
At Manchester Crown Court yesterday Kershaw, of Mansfield Road, Mossley, pleaded not guilty to taking £100 cash, a computer, laptop and two hard drives from the Oldham charity shop on January 8.
Police managed to recover some of the goods stolen from Mencap, which was burgled three times in a week. A trial is now set for June 17.
