Explosives charge

AN Oldham man has appeared in court charged with possessing explosives for an unlawful purpose.
Edward Sean Smith (29) of Scafell Close, Oldham Edge, appeared before Oldham Magistrates yesterday after officers discovered various explosive substances and fireworks in his possession.
Magistrates referred the case to Manchester Crown Court
