LOCAL musicians are to stage a tribute night to raise money for the family of Leon Cudworth, who died last month.
The 15-year-old’s body was found by a passer-by on February 15, in an alleyway off Ripponden Road.
The teenager was pronounced dead at the scene and police continue to investigate the circumstances following an inconclusive post-mortem examination.
Leon’s funeral is tomorrow (March 6) at St Edward’s RC Church in Lees, followed by interment at Lees Cemetery.
On March 13 a special tribute night at Milan Bar in Elliott Street, Lees will feature performances from a series of acts to raise money for Leon’s family.
