ONE in five Oldham schools are “outstanding” - but a similar proportion need improvement, says a new Ofsted report.
In Oldham, of 100 schools inspected, 20 were classed outstanding and 54 as good. But 22 schools require improvement and four are inadequate.
The survey is based on inspections up to the end of December and includes schools that have since become academies - though the data is based on their previous status.
