Concert hall cash
Date published: 01 April 2014
OLDHAM businessman Norman Stoller will fund the construction of a new concert hall in Manchester.
Mr Stoller, who founded Seton — the company which created the Tubigrip tubular bandage — will contribute towards the £8m venue at Chetham’s School of Music near Victoria train station.
The shell of the concert hall is built, but more money is needed to transform it into an international facility.
The hall is expected to open in 2017.
