Duo ride, climb and run 18 challenges in a year
Date published: 08 April 2014
A dynamic duo is tackling charity fundraising head on - by completing 18 tough challenges in 12 months.
Friends Darren Ratcliffe and Neil Buckley, both 34, are raising money for community group Forever Manchester.
Darren said: “We’re both really excited to be doing the challenges and we admit we got a bit carried away!
“Originally there should have been 12 events but we kept finding more and more things to enter.”
The events include climbing Snowdon on April 26, running the Manchester 10k on May 18, entering the Manchester to Blackpool cycle ride on July 14 and tackling the notoriously difficult Tough Mudder challenge on September 13.
