A toast to 26th annual beer festival
Date published: 08 April 2014
BEER drinkers enjoyed a real-ale paradise at the 26th annual Oldham Beer Festival at the Queen Elizabeth Hall at the weekend.
More than 65 ales from local brewers were on offer over the three-day festival as well as cider, perry, world beers and specialist chocolates. All the breweries operate within 25 miles of Oldham and Rochdale.
Proceeds from the event go to the Mayor’s Appeal, which this year supports The Christie at Oldham Hospital, Oldham Music Centre and the Terrence O’Grady Social club.
