OLDHAM Council is extending free town-centre weekend car-parking for another year.
Motorists will continue to park for up to three hours free on Saturdays and Sundays at council-owned car parks. The street car parking offer will also remain, allowing free parking in a bay for up to 30 minutes, Monday-Saturday, 8am-6pm. Motorists must take a ticket from the pay-and-display machine and put it on view in their vehicle.
Hobson Street multi-storey car park, off Union Street will allow free parking all day on Saturdays and Sundays.
