CROMPTON History Society is holding a talk from Peter Watson entitled “Artefacts of Superstition From Around Lancashire” at Crompton Library tonight at 7.30pm.

A HOSPICE to hospice walk in aid of Dr Kershaw’s takes place on Sunday. Fund-raisers will walk seven miles between Dr Kershaw’s and Springhill in Rochdale.

CROMPTON House raised £360 for school music funds through a spring concert with 10 other groups including the junior orchestra with pupils from East Crompton St James’ and Thornham St James’ primary schools.
