AN e-fit of the man police seek
POLICE have released an e-fit of a thug who launched an unprovoked assault on a man in Oldham.
The victim was walking in St Mary’s Way when he was approached by an unknown man who punched him. walking off towards the town centre.
The victim backed out and suffered severe facial injuries in the April 10 attack.
The attacker is white, in his early 30s, tall with a skinny build and shaven head. He was clean-shaven with blue eyes.
Det Constable Andrew Swettenham said: “This happened at a very busy time of day on a busy road in full view of passing motorists and pedestrians. I am particularly interested in tracing a couple who were seen arguing nearby on Rock Street at the time.”
