Vandals in double attack on trams

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after yobs damaged two trams at Shaw and Crompton Metrolink station on Sunday.

Offenders first hurled objects at a moving tram and damaged a side window, and 10 minutes later vandals smashed a window. Passengers on both trams had to get off at the next station and wait for another tram.
