AN Oldham school has turned a pupil’s artwork into a large road safety banner with help from a local firm.
Buckstones Primary School held a contest for youngsters to design a banner aimed at motorists, highlighting the importance of parking a car safely and in the right place.
Pupil Will Collinge (8) produced the winning design, chosen by Chris Gledhill, managing director of Sign UK Ltd, based at Oldham West Business Park in Watts Street.
Mr Gledhill said: “The children had produced some fantastic work but I felt Will’s design was clear and captured the message perfectly.”
