A 33-YEAR-OLD man from Failsworth has been jailed for more than 13 years for historic rape and sexual offences against two underage girls.

Peter Britain was found guilty at Manchester Crown Court of three counts of rape and two counts of sexual activity with a child.

The offences took place between 2007 and 2008 and were committed against two girls in their early to mid-teens.

The teens gave evidence behind screens, so they wouldn’t have to see their abuser.
