DELPH-BASED Includive Technology has won a prestigious software award.
The company has won the 2014 SIIA Education CODiE Award for ChooseIt! Maker 3 (CM3), a versatile program that allows teachers to create personalised activities for children with special needs, and to download them to an iPad or Android tablet.
The US CODiE is the American software industry’s top awards scheme, recognising outstanding achievement in educational technology. The award was presented during America’s leading education technology conference in San Francisco.
The win comes only a few months after CM3 was voted Best Special Needs Resource at the UK’s BETT Awards in London in January and was a finalist in the UK’s 2014 Education Resources Awards in March. Martin Littler, chairman and CEO of Inclusive Technology, said: “It is a thrill that teachers are using ChooseIt! Maker 3 in school districts across the United States, making personalised Apps for each student to use.
“On top of this we get the CODiE. We are so proud to get this recognition for CM3 from our colleagues in the States.”
