Hollins facing 25 weeks of traffic delays
Date published: 23 May 2014
ESSENTIAL gas mains work in Hollins will close some junctions and cause traffic delays for more than six months from Monday.
Around 700 metres of metal gas main is being replaced by modern plastic pipework in Hollins Road, between Copster Hill and Heron Street. Howgill Crescent will be closed at its junction with Hollins Road opposite Copster Hill for six weeks from the start of the project and temporary traffic lights will be in operation.
