Stabbing charge

A 16-YEAR-OLD girl appeared at Oldham Youth Court yesterday charged in connection with a stabbing.
Officers were called to a terrace house in Dobcross New Road, Dobcross, shortly before 5am on Sunday, following reports that a woman had been stabbed.
A 42-year-old woman was taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary for treatment for injuries to her back.
She remains in a serious but stable condition.
The girl, who can’t be named for legal reasons, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
