TWO Oldham town-centre car parks close permanently on June 9 to make way for Oldham’s new £15 million sports centre.
The car parks are at the junction of Manchester Street and St Domingo Street. Council car parks at Hobson Street, Bradshaw Street, Southgate Street and Oldham Civic Centre will be open as usual.
The sports centre will be built on the former Aldi supermarket site. The current Oldham Sports Centre will close when the new centre opens in autumn of next year.
